Here at Papillon Home Care Ltd, we ensure our clients are at the centre of what we do. We aim to provide the very best care that is safe and responsive to our client’s individual needs. Our staff are always polite, friendly and courteous and take pride in ensuring clients are treated with dignity, whilst respecting their right to privacy.

All our clients are treated as individuals, we recognise and promote individual choices. We provide a quality of care that enables our clients to remain independent and living in their own homes. The service we deliver is always professional, trustworthy and transparent.

To ensure our staff can meet all our clients’ expectations we continually improve and develop their skills. Our skilled staff listen to our clients, their families and friends and offer support to enhance the clients health and wellbeing and will also work alongside professionals to always achieve the very best outcome for our clients.

Mary Harvey – Managing Director

Mary Harvey – Managing Director

Mary has been in the health care industry for over 40 years. She became involved in homecare back in the late 80’s after caring on a one to one basis for one of the most amazing ladies she has ever met – Mrs Papillon. She in turn thought Mary was equally amazing as she enabled her to remain in her own home and die there with dignity – thus the name Papillon Home Care. In 1992 she became involved with setting up one of the first domiciliary care agencies in Ashford and has continued to work in this field. She became the first manager to receive the Kent Homecare Registered Manager’s award going on to be winner of the South Regional and a finalist in the National Awards. She is highly motivated and committed to ensuring her clients and their needs are at the heart of her business.

In her time off Mary enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoys walking and listening to music.

Emmeline Crawley

Emmeline Crawley – Registered Manager

Emmeline has worked in health care since she was seventeen. She came into domiciliary care after raising her family and found this fitted in with family life. She rose quickly from hands on carer to Senior Coordinator. Emmeline is compassionate about person-centre care and a holistic approach to individual care.

In her free time Emmeline enjoys socialising with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading and gardening.

Shelly Flaunty – Care Quality Assessor

Originally from London where she worked in administration, Shelly moved to New Romney in 2007. She began working in the care industry in 2010. Shelly found her true vocation. After years of dedicated work, she was promoted to Field Care Supervisor and in 2016 she was runner up in the Kent Care Awards for Carer of the Year.

In her free time Shelly enjoys spending time with family. She also enjoys travelling and going to the gym.

Danielle Wood - Accounts Manager

Danielle has a strong finance background, having spent ten years working in this field for a large, fast growing Healthcare Agency. She has varied experience in all aspects of finance, together with a keen nature and a passion for the industry.

In her spare time Danielle likes to spend time with her family, and all things creative! She is proud to be a Director of Papillon Home Care Limited and welcomes the opportunity to develop the Company into a client focused and respected care provider.

Sophie Watkins – Payroll Manager

Sophie Watkins – Payroll Manager

Sophie has 10 years previous experience working in several financial roles for a rapidly growing Healthcare Agency and now works alongside Danielle, managing all aspects of the finance for Papillon Home Care Limited. Prior to this, Sophie worked as an Accounts Assistant at one of Kent’s top Chartered Accountants where her role included client payroll, book keeping, VAT returns and accounts.

Sophie’s specialist areas include Payroll and Credit Control within the Care Industry: – this is a field she feels strongly about and as a Director Sophie is committed to building long lasting relationships with our clients and their families, offering a confidential and friendly approach to providing a tailored care package to suit all service user’s needs.

In her spare time, Sophie enjoys spending time in her garden tending to her vegetables and chickens, along with spending time with her family and holds a keen interest in travel.
