Papillon Home Care are currently recruiting a Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to clients in their own homes across Folkestone, Hythe, Hawkinge, Cheriton, Lympne and Romney Marsh.

Hours Available:

• Flexible or Guaranteed contracted hours to offer (Contracts applicable to experienced carers only, 16 hours per week and must include min of 8 hours at the weekend, more hours can be offered)
• We offer early morning, day, evening and weekend rounds – All workers are required to work 1 evening a week and some hours every other weekend
• Care rounds operate between 7am – 9pm, worked in smaller scheduled rounds

(Please note: this is community-based home care, not a care home role.)

About the Role:

As a Home Care Worker, you’ll provide essential support to vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes. No two days are the same, and the relationships you build with clients can make a genuine impact on their wellbeing and independence.

Duties may include:

• Personal care and assistance with washing and dressing
• Medication support
• Meal preparation
• Companionship and emotional support
• Assisting clients to appointments or in the community
• Promoting independence and dignity at all times

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle
• Have a minimum of 12 months home care experience (Contracts only). No experience needed for standard carer roles.
• Be able to communicate confidently in English (spoken and written)
• Be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check before employment
